Women beyond 'A Day'

Hello Beautiful People!

A few days ago was International Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the achievements of women and a call to action to further gender parity.

The past year has seen huge movements for women’s rights, equality, and justice in places like Mexico, Spain, Italy, the Arab States, Argentina, France, and especially the United States.

Regardless of your stance on the issues of the day, consider the positive, educational, financial and emotional impact women have had on your life.

As a volunteer with Africa Youth for Peace and Development, http://www.aypadinternational.org/
, and engaged on projects part of their Women Empowerment Program; our project has been selected by the GlobalGiving Foundation to participate in its Accelerator, a fundraising opportunity for nonprofits around the world.

Today March 12th our fundraising campaign is lunching and we will need your help.  In order to succeed, we must raise $5,000 from 40 donors by March 30th. If we meet this threshold, we will be permanently featured on GlobalGiving’s website, where we have the potential to benefit from corporate relationships, exposure to a new donor network, and access to dozens of online fundraising tools.
Please help us reach the threshold of $5,000 from 40 donors! Be one of the first people to make a donation at https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/economic-empowerment-of-rural-women-snail-farming/

In order to ensure sustainability, we are looking to raise a total of $23,830, but $5,000 will help us launch the farm and run it for more than a year!  Your donation, no matter how large, empower women to take control of their financial and educational success.

We’re also going to need your help spreading the word! Please share this opportunity with your friends and family!

Thank you!

Be part of our donors

Be part of the change!
